Orland Township Assessor's Office Open For Property Tax Appeals
Orland Township is open for appeals to the Cook County Board of Review until Dec. 17.
ORLAND TOWNSHIP — The Orland Township Assessor's Office is open for appeals to the Cook County Board of Review until Dec. 17, Assessor Rich Kelly announced this week.
Additionally, a property tax appeal forum will be held Monday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m., at the Orland Park Civic Center, 14750 S. Ravinia Ave. Members of the Board of Review will present an outline of the appeal process, which will be followed by a dedicated question-and-answer session.

An appeal is intended to correct the accuracy of your property’s assessment. If you feel the estimated market value of your home is significantly more than what you believe your home could sell for in the current real estate market, you should file an appeal, the Township Assessor said in a release.
