Orland Township’s Holiday Program To Benefit Nearly 300 Families
The program runs through support and contributions from local families, organizations, churches, and schools.

ORLAND TOWNSHIP — An Orland Township program is set to benefit nearly 300 local families in need this season.
Supported by the community and contributions from more than 100 families, local organizations, churches and schools, the Holiday Program will bring much-needed essentials and donated gifts to 275 families this season, the Township said.
This year, donations were collected at the registers of Jewel-Osco locations within the Township, allowing shoppers to contribute to the meal portion of the drive. The donations include essential holiday meal items along with gifts donated from the community tailored to individual family requests, making a direct impact on those who may be struggling during this festive season, the Township said.
