ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Park-based nonprofit Namastay Believin’ delivered this week 100 backpacks to a camp for kids diagnosed with or recovering from cancer.

Founders Brianne Fry and Tricia Krause delivered the backpacks filled with messages of hope to the children who attend Camp Quality in Frankfort. It's where Krause's son, Matthew, attended "to just be a kid," she said, when he was diagnosed with cancer.

The goal of the backpacks is to give the kids something they can use to carry toys, blankets, dolls —whatever gives them comfort — when they travel back and forth from the hospital.
