Orland's Pumpkin Party a Smash

The annual Great Pumpkin Party drew families, pets.

Families made scarecrows, toasted marshmallows, rode ponies and played games at the Great Pumpkin Party Saturday.

Despite overcast and a little drizzle, the pumpkin patch sold out of $2 pumpkins by 4:00 p.m. Kids still kept busy with other activities, like the search for prizes in the straw.

Roo, a rescue mixed-breed dog was among those decked out in costume for the pet parade.
