Pair Of Horses Escaped, Strolled Down Orland Park Streets: Video

According to a resident who posted a video of the horses on social media, the pair were seen Sunday night near 143rd Street and 80th Avenue.

ORLAND PARK, IL — A pair of horses were spotted walking down an Orland Park street Sunday night, according to a resident who captured the strange occurrence on video.

The two horses were seen walking near 143rd Street and 80th Avenue Sunday at around 9 p.m. The person who captured the video told Patch they stayed with the horses, slowly driving alongside them until Orland Park police showed up.

According to police, the owner of the horses was found and came to retrieve them. The owner told Patch the horses weren't far from their home stables when they were found.

"The best thing about police work is that not every day is the same, and some days we really just enjoy HORSING around," Orland Park police said in a social media statement. "Much like these HOUDINI’s wanted to do!"
