Park and Meadow Ridge School Host Ground Breaking for New Playgrounds
Park and Meadow Ridge School will have new playgrounds at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.

Park School and Meadow Ridge School are both set to unveil brand new, student-voted playgrounds this summer, just in time for the first day of school for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Meadow Ridge School is making headlines with its new play area. Their current playground is being carefully dismantled and shipped off to a third-world country, giving it a second life. Even more notably, Meadow Ridge's new playground will be the first universal playground in Orland Park, designed to welcome children of all abilities to play together.
Allowing the students to choose which playground they wanted at their school has made this project even more special.

As summer progresses, construction crews will be busy bringing these student-envisioned playgrounds to life. Students at both Park School and Meadow Ridge will return to a vibrant, engaging, and in Meadow Ridge's case, truly inclusive new outdoor play experience, setting the stage for a fun and active school year.
