'Pedestrian Incident' Causes Delays On Metra SouthWest Service

ORLAND PARK, IL — Plan accordingly when traveling on the Metra SouthWest Service line Monday, as a "pedestrian incident," is causing extensive delays, according to Metra.
Some trains are currently halted or will no longer operate. According to Metra, train #815 was stopped on the tracks at 1:46 p.m., and as of Monday afternoon, trains #824, #823 will not operate. The next train to leave Chicago Union Station towards Manhattan will be at 5:50 p.m.

Metra Alert SWS - Train #823 scheduled to depart Chicago Union Station at 4:35 PM, will not operate due to a pedestrian incident. Train #827 will be the next outbound train.
