ORLAND HILLS, IL — Police arrested a boy Sunday night after officers said he ran from an unoccupied car which was later determined stolen.
According to police, officers on patrol in the 16200 block of Haven Avenue saw a gray Chrysler 200 parked on the wrong side of the street without any license plates Sunday just before 8 p.m.
After running the vehicle's identification number they learned the car was reported stolen from a Chicago neighborhood two hours prior. While officers continued to investigate near the vehicle, police said a male walking towards the car saw police and began running.
