Police Chase, Search For Pair Wanted In Orland Park Carjacking
Multiple officers from across the south suburbs were looking for a man and woman who may have run into Rubio Woods after a car chase.

MIDLOTHIAN, IL — Officers from Orland Park, Oak Forest and Midlothian police departments called off the search Tuesday night for two people who police said are wanted in connection to a carjacking in Orland Park.
According to Midlothian police, a man and woman fled police in a car Tuesday evening, speeding down 147th Street.
After moving throughout the south suburbs, officials said the pair crashed the vehicle in the 5800 block of Midlothian Turnpike and ran on foot near the corner of 143rd Street and Linder Avenue at around 6:30 p.m.

Orland Park police told Patch they are looking for a Black man wearing an all black outfit and a Black woman wearing a multi-colored sweatshirt.
Officers from multiple towns are in the area Tuesday searching for the pair and said they may have run into Rubio Woods to evade police.

As of 8 p.m., Orland Park police and other agencies called off the search for the night. Midlothian police told Patch they will be patrolling in the area of Rubio Woods throughout the night.
