Police Search For Man Who May Be 'Armed And Dangerous': Officials
Officers were searching near the Sequoia Court area to help Crestwood police find the man they say is connected to an earlier carjacking.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Police have finished searching for a man who was believed to be armed Friday night. Officers were warning residents to stay vigilant Friday night while officers aided Crestwood police in searching for a man who is wanted in connection to a Crestwood carjacking.
According to an alert issued via social media, officers were searching near Sequoia Court at the intersection of 151st Street and 80th Avenue at around 10 p.m. Friday.
As of midnight Saturday, police told residents they no longer believed the man was in the area.

The person was described as a Black man with long dreadlocks and red pants. Officials told Patch they believed he was "armed and dangerous."
Police said anyone who sees a person who fits the description should call 9-1-1 immediately and not attempt to approach the man.
