Senator Michael E. Hastings To Host Blood Drive In Orland Park
Senator Michael E. Hastings is partnering up with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois to host a blood drive in Orland Park.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Senator Michael E. Hastings (D-Frankfort) is pairing up with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois to host a blood drive in Orland Park this month, according to a news release from the senators' office.
The blood drive will be taking place Friday, Sept. 11 at the American Legion Post 111 building, located at 15045 S. West Ave., Orland Park. Hours to donate will be between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to the release.
The release states that the blood drive is being held to fill the demand for blood donation in the south suburbs.

"The COVID-19 crisis has led to a drastic reduction in blood donations throughout the state," Hastings said, according to the release. "I’m proud to team up with Versiti to provide a safe outlet for people to make a difference in our communities."
