The township said they will be hosting luncheons this November and December. Tickets for those events will be going on sale at a later date, according to the township.

According to the township, O’Grady said that Orland Township did not completely close down during the stay-at-home order.

"In accordance with CDC guidelines and for the safety of our staff and residents alike, we modified our workplace. Many staff members were able to work from home, others were temporarily reassigned to help maintain our essential services such as access to the Township food pantry, the general assistance office and senior transportation to medical visits. Like everyone else, we are extremely happy to take this step towards normal and start up our senior events again."
