Smashburger Announces Grand Opening In Orland Park

The burger chain will open Dec. 9 at 15061 South LaGrange Road and host community events along with other deals throughout the month.

ORLAND PARK, IL — The village is getting a new burger joint as Smashburger, the American food classic, announced it will host a grand opening in Orland Park Thursday.

The addition of the 15061 South LaGrange Road location will mark the fifth chain location in Illinois with restaurants soon to pop up in Naperville and Oak Brook, a representative for the fast food chain told Patch.

Following the first day in business, Smashburger will partner with the Bridge Teen Center to donate a portion of sales to the nonprofit youth center.

"We are thrilled to continue our Chicago-area expansion with our newest restaurant in Orland Park," said Carl Bachmann, president of Smashburger, in a news release. "Orland Park is one of the most desirable Chicago suburbs with a variety of restaurants, shopping centers and entertainment which makes it an ideal community for Smashburger."

From Friday, Dec. 17 through Sunday, Dec. 19, $1 from each "Double Smash Burger" sold will be donated to the Bridge Teen Center. Other deals and coupons will be announced throughout the company's first few weeks, Smashburger representatives said.

The restaurant will be complete with indoor seating and will offer both take-out and dine-in. Curbside pickup will also be available. From the Dec. 9 opening until Dec. 24, Smashburger delivery will be free through the mobile app or food delivery services.

Located near Panera Bread and Chipotle Mexican Grill, Smashburger will be open for breakfast through dinner from 8:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.
