ORLAND PARK, IL — South Suburban Relentless Protect Our Rights will be out protesting from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at 147th Street and Lagrange Road in Orland Park, after ICE agents embedded in the Chicago area, with National Guard troops arrival on city streets imminent.
“Due to the complete and utter failure of this administration's ability to govern in a legal manner … We hoped to have a POSITIVE protest with signs that we ALL could agree on. Doing a POSITIVE protest, although a peaceful one, would be us ignoring the fact that we need to ramp up our messaging,” the organizers said in a written statement.
The group asks that signs address the current state of affairs, with no vulgarity or profanity on signs. Monitors will be onsite to help with any issues that may occur.

“We will not be distracted by all the chaos,” the group said. “Epstein is fair game … everything is fair game. Bring water. Bring chairs. Bring friends, lots of them. When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty.”
Presently, there are no military troops in Chicago, although Trump has seemingly walked back his decision to send a surge of federal troops to Chicago, WGN reported.

“I want to go into Chicago and we have this incompetent governor that doesn’t want us,” Trump said Wednesday evening. “So we’re making the determination now. Do we go to Chicago or do we go to a place like New Orleans where we have a great governor who wants us to come in?”
