ORLAND PARK, IL — The Orland Park Police Department announced on Facebook that they were investigating an apparent threat called into a store in Orland Square Mall, 288 Orland Square Drive.

The police said a threat has not been found after investigating the situation, stating "activity at Orland Square Mall has subsided and the threat is unfounded."

Police said they were responding to a telephone threat called into one of the mall stores. They were investigating if the threat was legitimate, concluding it was not.
