Three 18-year-Olds Accused of Car Burglary In Orland Park
Orland Park police said the teens took money and electronics from unlocked cars.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Three teenagers were arrested after Orland Park Police responded to a call about three males trying to break into a car just before 9 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
Jamari Harmon, 18, Albert Taylor, 18, and Travon Phillips, 18, were each charged with burglary to a motor vehicle, criminal trespassing to a vehicle and resisting and obstructing a peace officer, according to Orland Park police.
Officials said plainclothes Orland Park police officers saw all three teens pulling car door handles in a parking lot in the 15300 block of Treetop Drive. Officers saw them get into an unlocked car and take money and electronics, police said.

When officers approached the teens and identified themselves as police, the suspects fled on foot, according to officials. They were later caught and taken into police custody.
