Car Found In Water Near 160th And Wolf, Driver Unharmed
The driver of the white Jeep that was found in the water in Orland Park Sunday was unharmed, fire officials have said.
ORLAND PARK, IL â First responders were at the scene of what was reported to be a water rescue Sunday evening. The call came in to the area of 108th Avenue and 159th Street in Orland Park just before 7 p.m., the Northern Illinois FireGround Photos Facebook page was the first to report.
A car was in the water in the 16000 block of Wolf Road when the Orland Fire Protection District responded at 6:38 p.m. On arrival, fire companies found a white Jeep in the culvert on the side of the road.
The driver was out and no one else was in the vehicle. The driver refused treatment and Orland Park police were at the scene to help arrange a tow from the water.

The rescue report came as the entire area remained under a flash flood warning, with brief tornadoes possible, around 7 p.m. Sunday.
