Fox Valley Orchestra &amp; Chorus present their first performance of 2026, at Crimi Auditorium, Aurora University. "The Future is Now" will feature the FVMC's Collegiate Voice and High School Instrumental Competition winners! These winners received a monetary award and the opportunity performs their solo with the FVO! Fox Valley Orchestra: Stephen Squires, conductor,  Lisa Fredenburgh, chorus master2025 Concerto Competition and Voice Competition winners:

Is your student preparing for the ACT and wondering where they truly stand?
My2tor is offering proctored ACT practice tests designed to mirror the current version of the ACT. This experience gives students a realistic look at test day conditions and gives families clear insight into what to focus on next.
These proctored tests are especially helpful for students who have not yet taken the updated ACT, which now includes unscored field test questions that can impact pacing and stamina.
What families gain from this experience:

News | For Immediate Release December 30, 2025 Local Homeschool Support Program Earns National Recognition for Student and Parent Engagement National School Choice Awareness Foundation names ACES Academy an “All Star” for helping families better understand local learning options Oswego––ACES Academy is receiving national recognition for its commitment to helping parents in Chicago’s western suburbs better understand the learning options available for their children. Today, ACES Academy was named an “All Star” participant in the annual celebration of National School Choice Week (January 25–31, 2026, schoolchoiceweek.com) by the event’s organizer, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit National School Choice Awareness Foundation. More than 26,400 schools across the country take part in National School Choice Week each January, but fewer than five percent earn the “All Star” distinction. “All Star” schools are celebrated for going above and beyond to raise awareness of the PreK–12 education options available to families—including public, charter, magnet, private, online, and home education. All-Star participants host positive, family-centered events and activities that help parents understand their school choice options and that celebrate students, teachers, and local school communities. This year, ACES Academy will host a family and founder “fireside chat” for families and other Illinois program founders. ACES Academy is celebrating NSCW 2026 on Saturday, January 31st from 10am-11:30am with a special celebration of learning, community, and the freedom to choose the educational path that fits your family best! During this event, families are invited to explore our ACES DuPage learning space and meet our passionate educators, experience hands-on learning stations, and hear from current homeschool families. Current and prospective founders will also have the opportunity to make meaningful connections and help grow the ecosystem of learning options.
