City To Accept Applications For Tents, Domes Or Other Temporary Structures For Outdoor Dining

Press release from the City of Park Ridge:

In an effort to further assist restaurants during the COVID-19 restrictions, the Mayor has authorized a relaxation of rules regarding tents, domes or other temporary structures.

Thus, restaurants desiring such temporary structures, either on the public right of way or on their private property, can submit building permit applications to the Department of Community Preservation and Development.

Applications will be reviewed to ensure ADA compliance and that adequate fire and safety measures will be in place. More information is available here.
