Park Ridge public works employees could be getting a raise, the Journal & Topics reports.
The city council is set to vote on approving a new contract for the public works department tonight. The new contract will be retroactive to May 1, 2012 when the old one expired. It includes a pay raise of 1 percent for 2012 and 1.75 percent for the next two years. Employees will also have to pay more for insurance, the newspaper reports. Β
