Firefighter Accused of Unwanted Sex Act Won't Face Charges
A 26-year-old woman claimed she was the victim of an unwanted sex act by an on-duty Evanston firefighter at Firehouse 1, 1332 Emerson St., in October.
No criminal charges will be filed against an Evanston firefighter after a woman claimed she was the victim of an unwanted sexual act while he was on duty at the firehouse, according to the Evanston Review.
The Cook County State's Attorney's Felony Review unit determined there was not enough evidence to support the woman's claims against the firefighter, who is has been on leave since the incident and may still face internal discipline, the Review reports.
