Video Testimony Released in Park Ridge Man's Murder Trial

In a video testimony that was recorded in the months before she died, Gloria Weinke said her son, Wayne Weinke of Park Ridge, threw her down 12 feet of stairs at The Moorings in Arlington Heights on July 18, 2006 and then "left her to die," according to the Daily Herald.

Wayne Weinke is on trial for her death and faces the following charges: first-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery of a senior citizen and aggravated domestic battery, according to the Daily Herald. The trial is expected to continue through next week.
