1. Several shots were fired early Sunday morning after a "large fight" broke out in downtown Peoria, WMBD reports. Two people were shot and injured near Hamilton Boulevard and Monroe Street. (WMBD)
2. Peoria officials are searching for a 55-year-old missing man, according to the county sheriff's office. Eric M. King is believed to be driving a Honda with South Dakota license plates. (WMBD)
3. Mayor Rita Ali sat down with WCBU this week to discuss the city's five-year strategic plan. Ali said more than 400 people came to the recent strategic planning sessions at the Civic Center where discussions included "reimagining downtown Peoria, infrastructure improvements, neighborhood investment, growing the workforce, and the city's fiscal health and financial future." 4. Lane closures are planned tomorrow on West Nebraska Avenue between North University Street and the I-74 overpass, the Journal Star reports. Public Works officials say milling work should be completed by the end of the day. (Paid source: Journal Star)
