2. An “inappropriate object” was confiscated from a school bus at Kellar Primary School, Peoria Public Schools told parents this week. Students said the object was a knife, but district officials did not confirm it. The board will “address parent concerns” at next week’s regular meeting. (25NewsNow)

3. A group of Peoria moms will march in Springfield later this month as part of Moms Demand Action’s Advocacy Day. Mothers are gathering to demand state measures to improve gun safety. (WMBD)
