1. A man was hospitalized Tuesday night after a shooting in the 2000 block of West Marquette. WCBU reports it was one of three shootings reported June 20 in South Peoria. (WCBU)

2. A South Peoria man will appear in court today to face weapons charges stemming from a shooting on May 30. James Ogle is accused of firing a gun at a man near his home in the 2400 block of West Antoinette Street. (WMBD)

3. Two local projects are among those receiving new housing grants from the state of Illinois, WCBU reports. Phoenix Manor, Churchview Garden Homes and 16 other initiatives will receive funding from the Low-Income Housing Tax Credits program, the state announced Wednesday. (WCBU)

4. One of the passengers aboard a missing submarine was a visitor to Peoria in 2017, the Journal Star reports. Paul-Henri Nargeolet was in town to work at the Riverfront Museum’s “Titanic” exhibit six years ago.
