University of Iowa 2024 spring semester dean's list honorees announced

More than 7,650 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the dean's list for the 2024 spring semester.

Dean's list status was earned by 1,063 first-year undergraduates during the 2023 spring semester at Iowa, 1,752 second-year students, 2,041 third-year students, and 2,807 fourth-year students.

Students who are named to the University of Iowa's 2024 spring semester president's list have also met all of the requirements for inclusion on the dean's list.

Spring 2024 graduates announced at University of Alabama

Dean's, president's lists students named for University of Alabama spring 2024 term

A total of 13,103 students enrolled during Spring Semester 2024 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). These driven students are making waves across UA's more than 70 undergraduate programs.

The UA dean's and president's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Plainfield student named to the College of Charleston dean's list

Diana Soto of Plainfield, IL, was named to the College of Charleston Spring 2024 Dean's List. Soto is majoring in Spanish.

To qualify for the President's List (Highly Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

To qualify for the Dean's List (Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.500 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Plainfield student selected to Nebraska Business Honors Academy

Colin Doyle of Plainfield, a recent graduate of Plainfield North High School, is among 38 high-achieving first-year students selected to join the Nebraska Business Honors Academy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this fall. Comprising the academy's 12th cohort, the students hail from seven U.S. states and 13 Nebraska communities.

Doyle intends to major in finance.

"These talented, high-ability students will challenge themselves in new and different ways from day one," said Kathy Farrell, James Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean and professor of finance. "They will stretch their strengths both in and out of the classroom and hone their academic, interpersonal and leadership skills as they prepare to lead the future of business."

Georgia Tech Spring 2024 Graduates Announced

The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to more than 5,700 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute's 266th Commencement exercises May 2 - 4, 2024, at McCamish Pavilion.

Samantha Zigmant of Plainfield has made the Dean's List at Monmouth College for the spring semester. A theatre major, Zigmant is the child of Joseph and Linda Zigmant of Plainfield.
