PLAINFIELD, IL — Residents who notice a large police presence Tuesday outside of Community Christian Church in Plainfield shouldn't worry: It's just a police training exercise, officials said.
Plainfield police notified residents in a Facebook post at 12:42 p.m. that marked and unmarked squad cars, specialized equipment and personnel in tactical gear are gathered at the church, located near Route 59 and 143rd Street.
