The Community Homecoming Parade features all four District 202 high schools, all seven middle schools and most of the 17 elementary schools in the district. It is routinely one of the biggest in the state, and this year 90 entrants will step off at 9 a.m. before parading through Downtown Plainfield.

Since 1999, Price and Brannen have helped make sure the event goes on without a hitch. The two area women helped form the Plainfield Homecoming Committee, which helps organize the annual event.
