National Night Out In Plainfield: See What's Planned
The community will come together at Settlers' Park for an evening of free food, live music and family-friendly activities.

PLAINFIELD, IL — National Night Out is returning to Settlers' Park Aug. 6.
A community-building event that promotes partnerships between police and their communities, National Night Out will feature food, entertainment and giveaways from local businesses from 5-8:30 p.m.
Bounce houses, a dunk tank and touch-a-truck are also planned.

The free event will kick off with a sensory hour from 4-5 p.m.
"National Night Out is the perfect opportunity for the Police Department and community to come together and show their united front against crime," village officials said in a newsletter.
