Plainfield Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Child
Police said the child, who is younger than 13, reported the abuse to their mother.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A Plainfield man faces multiple felony charges in connection with allegations he sexually abused a child under age 13, police said.
According to police, the child reported the abuse to their mother, who contacted Plainfield police. Plainfield police began investigating the allegations on June 19, and a victim sensitive interview was conducted with the child by a forensic interviewer from the Will County Children's Advocacy Center, in which more detail of the assaults was provided.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Todd A. Fabley, 34, of Plainfield, and he was arrested Tuesday.

Fabley is charged with four counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child under 13, one count of criminal sexual assault and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Police said he was taken to the Plainfield Police Department, where he was booked and released after posting $5,000, or 10 percent of a $50,000 bond.
