PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Police Department issued 55 citations during its Memorial Day enforcement campaign, officials announced.

"Through the Memorial Day enforcement campaign, we helped make Illinois roads safer and spread the word that seat belts save lives," Sgt. Dino Dabezic said in a statement.
