Police Training To Take Place On South Des Plaines Street

PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield police are telling residents not to worry if they see a large number of officers and police cars in the area of South Des Plaines Street Thursday evening.

Police officers and other Plainfield Police Department members will be training in the 15000 block of South Des Plaines Street Thursday afternoon through evening, officials said in a social media post Thursday morning.

Police did not immediately respond to questions on what kind of training is taking place or if the road would be closed during this time.
