PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Police Department unveiled how many tickets officers issued during the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign from Dec. 13 to Jan. 2.

Police wrote 34 citations for traffic offenses and issued 13 warnings, officials said Wednesday. Here's the breakdown:

  • 29 occupant restraint
  • 2 speeding
  • 1 cell phone usage
  • 1 passing a school bus
  • 1 no insurance

The enforcement initiative, administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation, was funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
