Colton Miller, 18 months, was killed after his father attacked his family at their Joliet home.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A vigil will be held Sunday in Plainfield for the 18-month-old Joliet boy who was killed by his father. The vigil will be led by the boy's mother, who was wounded in the attack.
The boy, Colton Miller, was killed after his father, 35-year-old Christopher Miller, attacked his family in their Joliet home Saturday, Sept. 21. Miller came to the house of his estranged wife before he attacked his family, injuring 32-year-old Cassandra Tanner-Miller and their 9-year-old daughter Camryn.
Miller shot his infant son multiple times, then shot himself after barricading himself in the house. He reportedly entered the house and said "Are you all ready to die today?"
