Last week's Community Connection Resource Fair, hosted by Nicor Gas, proved to be a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of local leaders, community organizations and dedicated volunteers. The event, which aimed to support Rockford-area residents, provided nearly 300 families with free food and essential services.
The fair was made possible through the support of Illinois State Representative Maurice West, Alderman Janessa Wilkins and the City of Rockford. Their involvement, along with the contributions of numerous community partners and employee volunteers, was instrumental in the event's success.

Special thanks were extended to the American Red Cross, The Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs and The Salvation Army. These organizations played a vital role by offering valuable information and resources to attendees, further enhancing the fair's impact.
The Community Connection Resource Fair highlights the power of community collaboration in making a meaningful difference in the lives of many Rockford families.

As the community prepares for the cooler months ahead, Nicor Gas reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that communities remain connected to essential resources. For more information about ongoing initiatives and support, visit nicorgas.com/C3.
