Rockford Man Charged With Child Pornography, Drug Possession
A 26-yr-old Rockford man was arrested after a search warrant led to the discovery of child pornography and drugs, the sheriff's office said.
ROCKFORD, IL — A Rockford man faces drug possession and child pornography charges after the Winnebago County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit conducted a narcotics search warrant Friday at a home in the 3500 block of Zircon Lane. The sheriff's office said narcotics officers recovered 6.4 grams of cocaine from the house and found deleted files on the suspect's cell phone. A forensic search of the phone determined the files were images and videos containing child pornography, the sheriff's office said.
Narcotics officers and detectives arrested 26-year-old Zachery E. Lindenmeier and he was brought to the Winnebago County Jail, according to sheriff's officials.
Lindenmeier's charges include three counts of possession of child pornography, possession with intent to deliver cocaine (1-15 grams), and resisting arrest.
