Rockford Public Schools: Transportation Update: November Bus Routes

RPS 205 families, 

We are finalizing our transportation plans for November as we continue to work through the nationwide worker shortage bus driver and transportation staff shortage.  

We plan to start the month of November with five uncovered routes each day, and we expect that number to drop as the month continues. RPS 205 has been fortunate to add a few new driver trainees each week. We are hopeful this is the last time we’ll need to share an update on the bus driver shortage this school year.  

Thank you again for your patience during this difficult time. We appreciate your flexibility, patience and support this school year.
