Rose Pest Solutions Hosts Family and Dog-Friendly Fall Fest
Fun Activities with Food Trucks for the Whole Family, Wednesday, October 11 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Rockford, Ill. (October 7, 2023) -- Rose Pest Solutions, www.rosepestcontrol.com, is hosting a free family and dog-friendly Fall Fest at 1621 Rural Street in Rockford on Wednesday, Oct,. 11 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. The event will kick off at 3:00 p.m. with an official ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce to commemorate the grand opening of Rose’s new Rockford branch location. Rose’s new branch manager Chris Hulings will be on hand joining coworkers and Rose’s owner Bob Dold to welcome everyone to festivities.
“It’s exciting to see our historical business continue to evolve and grow,” said Janelle Iaccino, Rose’s marketing director. She began working for Rose at their former location at 1649 Charles St. in 2005. “We have served Rockford for generations. We look forward to being a resource for many more generations to come.”
The official Rockford Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting with big scissors will take place at 3:00 p.m. followed by games, trick or treating, fun activities and prizes, and food for everyone.

Quixotic Bakery, Cheezy’s Grilled Cheeses and Tacos Don Chato will have their food trucks serving up tasty treats. Curran’s Orchard is providing apple cider and donuts. There will also be treats for Fido.
Costumes are encouraged. Kids can collect candy, see some live insects and win prizes for playing critter trivia. A harvest scene with bales of hay, corn husks, mums and pumpkins will be ready for selfies and other photo opportunities for the whole family.

“Rose is proud of its legacy of community involvement. And we thought this event would be a great way to meet new neighbors. We are here as a household and environmental resource and hope everyone will take advantage of that,” Iaccino said. “ We love to help with any questions – and welcome pictures of things people find so we can help get to the root of the problem and provide the quality service people expect of Rose.”
