IL Man Threatened To Kill Biden, Obama: Police
He threatened to have Obama assassinated, told Biden "your f****ed," and threatened to have First Lady Jill Biden raped, police said.
SPRINGFIELD, IL — A central Illinois man is charged with threatening the lives of President Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama and other federal officials, according to court documents.
Jacob E. Sterr, of Springfield, faces charges of threats against the president and successors to the presidency as well as threats against former presidents and other protected persons, according to a police affidavit in the case.
On Nov. 25, Sterr took to X and, in a series of profanity-laden posts, including one video, threatened to have Obama assassinated, told Biden “your f****ed,” threatened to kill Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, and threatened to have First Lady Jill Biden “raped, maimed, and only honored by my god,” the affidavit said.

Sterr is set to appear for a detention hearing Wednesday, according to court records.
