The accident happened Wednesday afternoon at the Central Park Station in the North Lawndale neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL — A car crashed into a West Side CTA Pink Line station Wednesday, injuring two people, according to ABC 7 Eyewitness News. The station stayed open after the accident, which didn't create any delays along the Pink Line, the report added.

A white, four-door Volkswagen sedan slammed into the Central Park Station, 1915 S. Central Park Ave., at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, the report stated. The car hit the station's entrance and a nearby bench, the report added.
