Building Commissioner David Upshaw noted during the meeting that the new business applications are consistent with Broadview's ordinance approved by the Board of Trustees on September 16, 2024, which aims to accommodate salon suite businesses to stay current with the marketplace and to develop the Roosevelt Road corridor.

"These new businesses are a welcome addition to the Roosevelt Road corridor," said Upshaw. "We are confident that they will help to revitalize the area and attract new customers."
