COPA Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting On Chicago's Lower West Side, Second This Weekend

CHICAGO (CBS) — The Civilian Office of Police Accountability is investigating another officer-involved shooting this weekend, this time on the Lower West Side.

The shooting happened Sunday around 1:15 a.m. in the 1800 block of South Blue Island Avenue in the Pilsen neighborhood.
Dozens of officers were still at the scene surrounding a vehicle around 7 a.m. as multiple bullet casings were left on the ground. Windows of a nearby library were also left shattered.
