Lindop 92 Teachers Get 6% Salary Increase Under New Contract

(Broadview, IL) – Teachers at west suburban Lindop Elementary School District 92 will see a “significant” salary increase under the terms of a new, multi-year labor contract approved this week by the district’s Board of Education

The Lindop 92 board ratified on Tuesday, July 18, a three-year contract for the 38 teachers of the Lindop Teachers Association that includes a six percent salary increase through the 2025-2026 school year.

“The Lindop School District 92 Board of Education is committed to investing in its current educator workforce, and a six-percent salary increase represents the board’s commitment to our teachers,” said Board of Education President Aaron Hannah. “Additionally, the salary increase will make Lindop competitive with neighboring school districts as we also seek to grow our teacher workforce.”

The contract will cost the district $420,267 over next three years.

Superintendent praises the leaders of the district’s teachers union.

“During the course of contract negotiations, the leaders of the Lindop Teachers Association always put the interests of improving our students’ quality of education first,” said Superintendent Dr. Janiece Jackson. “Our mutual priority of providing a quality education to Lindop students ensured that our discussions, while at times frank, were productive and beneficial to the district overall.”

Lindop’s 330 students from the Village of Broadview return to school on August 17th.
