(Broadview, IL) – Lindop Elementary School leaders will host a town hall coffee meeting on Saturday, October 21, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., to discuss the development of an officially certified Lindop Parent Teachers Association (PTA).

"As the superintendent of Lindop School District, I firmly believe that establishing an authorized Lindop Parent Teachers Association (PTA) is not just a choice, but a crucial necessity,” said Lindop 92 Superintendent Dr. Janiece Jackson. “A strong PTA forms the backbone of our educational community, fostering collaboration and engagement between parents, teachers, and students.”

"The establishment of clear guidelines and a well-defined structure for an officially certified PTA is akin to laying the foundation of a strong and resilient educational community,” said Hannah. “A certified PTA ensures transparency, accountability, and the efficient functioning of our PTA, which in turn enhances our ability to provide the best possible support and resources for our students.”

Lindop previously had a parent-teacher-student organization, but it had fallen by the way for a lack active participation by its members, but Dr. Jackson believes relaunching a parent-teacher group under the auspices of a PTA will provide more provide participants a richer and productive roadmap thanks to the National PTA’s information resources and support.

All parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
