Man Throws Wife's Dogs Off Balcony, Killing One: Cops
The man allegedly told his wife, "You love those dogs more than you love me," before throwing them, killing a 17-year-old Chihuahua.

CHICAGO, IL — Police said a man was arrested Christmas Eve after he threw two dogs off a West Town balcony, killing one of the dogs while the other ran away. The incident happened during an argument Monday night between 51-year-old Jerald Jeske and his 55-year-old wife, who told police her husband slapped her twice in their car before they continued fighting outside her house on West Grand and North Racine avenues, WLS reported.
Jeske, of Park Ridge, works as an attorney, according to the Chicago Tribune. He is charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals.
The man reportedly told his wife, "You love those dogs more than you love me. I'm going to kill those dogs." That's when the man grabbed the woman's keys, went into the house and threw a 17-year-old Chihuahua and another dog from a second-floor balcony, police told WLS.
