Village of Broadview Appoints New Members to Zoning Board of Appeals
Lakecia Whimper and Steve Taylor Approved Unanimously

(BROADVIEW, IL) - The Broadview Board of Trustees has approved the appointment of Lakecia Whimper and Steve Taylor to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
“I commend both Lakecia Whimper and Steve Taylor for their outstanding civic commitment and their willingness to serve our community on the Zoning Board of Appeals,” said Mayor Katrina Thompson. “Their experience and insights will be a valuable asset as we work to shape the future of Broadview.”
Whimper will fill the vacancy created by Mathis Stegall's resignation, and Taylor will fill the vacancy created by Robert Abraham's expiration of his term of office.

The Zoning Board of Appeals, which helps to guide responsible development within Broadview, reviews requests for zoning changes and makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
Both Whimper and Taylor are longtime and active residents of Broadview.
“On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I would like to thank Mathis Stegall and Robert Abraham for their service and commitment to Broadview during their tenure on the Zoning Board of Appeals,” said Thompson.
