Wilmette Nursery School Hosts Double Celbration
The school will honor director's tenth anniversary with a new playground.

Wilmette Community Nursery School is celebrating director Kerry Russell’s tenth anniversary with a new playground ribbon cutting.
The event will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. Donations for the equipment came from last year’s fundraising efforts.

The school is one of the oldest preschools on the North Shore. It has been a staple of Wilmette for over 50 years.
“Its play-based curriculum focuses on teaching young children in a wya that makes school fun, while catering to their unique educational needs,” according to a press release.

The school will also be hosting observation days on Thursday and Dec. 10 at 9:30 a.m. for parents, students and friends to explore the school.
