16 Year Old Arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance

Teen arrested for possession of a controlled substance

A 16-year-old girl was arrested for possession of a controlled substance Sept. 24.

Pot possession

Benjamin C. Ticknor, 31, of the 1000 block of Ridge Road in Evanston, was arrested at 11 p.m. Sept. 28 in the 600 block of Elm Street for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. The arrest was made subsequent to a previous traffic stop. He has a Nov. 12 court date.

Laptop stolen at New Trier

Someone stole an unsecured Apple iPad Air with a black case worth $490 that was left by the doorway of the auditorium at New Trier between 5 and 5:11 p.m. Sept. 23.
