Lexus Stolen from Elm St. Driveway

The following is from the Winnetka Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Bike stolen

Someone stole an unlocked red men’s Giant bike worth $309 from the south side of a building in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue between 11 a.m. Aug. 23 and 11 a.m. Aug. 24.

iPad stolen

Someone stole an iPad Air worth $599 from a conference room in the 300 block of Green Bay Road sometime between 1 p.m. Aug. 13 and 9 a.m. Sept. 2.

Fake IRS call

A resident reported receiving a telephone call from someone pretending to be with the IRS who said the resident owed additional money. The investigation is ongoing.

Attempted burglary

Someone damaged a rear door and broke a window of a home in the 400 block of Willow Road between 4:30 and 5:10 p.m. Sept. 6. The investigation is ongoing.

Lexus stolen

Someone stole a 2013 silver Lexus 450x from a driveway in the 900 block of Elm Street between 7 p.m. Sept. 5 and 7:40 a.m. Sept. 6. There was a Britax car seat and silver iPad mini inside. The total loss is more than $10,000.

Car burglarized

Somoen stole an iPhone power cord, key card and coins from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 1000 block of Sunset Road between 8 and 11:30 p.m. Sept. 7. Total loss is $119.
