Milton “Mickey” Jack Jaffe, age 94.

Beloved husband of Cheri, (nee Mock). Dear father of John (May), Samantha, Sophia and the late Laney and Jeff. Cherished grandfather of Jill (Ian) Grunes, Carly (Jon) Linton, Taylor Jaffe and Dale Jaffe. Proud great-grandfather of Laney, Jack, Henry and Olivia. Dear brother of the late Rochelle. He will be missed by many other cherished family members and friends, so many of whom now reside on the west coast. Mickey was born in Chicago, attended Senn High School, graduated from University of Illinois and was headmaster of his Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. He was a well respected leader in the auto parts industry his whole life and traveled the globe in style attending many industry sponsored events, including major racing events, the Olympics and Super Bowls. Mickey was an avid sports fan at all levels, college and professional, and was a Chicago season ticket holder for the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks for over 50 years. He was an athlete himself holding the City of Chicago high school broad jump record for 20 years. Even more, Mickey was a devoted family man who was generous with his time and support of his loved ones, and his love was felt deeply. He was lucky to have lived a long and prosperous life that we all could hope for, and he will be greatly missed.
